Glzapter Que TEACHERS AND CLASSES . . . On coming from elementary to high school and the new freedom we were somewhat bewild- ered. It didn't take long, however, to outgrow our foolish friski- ness and we found ourselves living the high school routine and liking it. We liked the division period when, with the help of our division teachers, our problems were ironed out. We learned to like going into action at the ringing of the tardy bell. We felt privileged when it was our day to see the assembly. We weren't too happy when the teacher announced, All right now, we'll have a test. But usually even that worked out well. We met report book days as they came, sometimes sharply disap- pointed, sometimes happily surprised, but usually walking out of the room with the very mark we would have given ourselves. The pages that follow show a shot here and there of us in the classrooms, where by far most of our school hours were spent. Page 10
