we gadugg The yarn of the year regarding the faculty is one of many moves. Several Kelly instructors were called to teach G.I. classes at the various Chicago centers. We shall welcome them back when the loan period expires. A few instruc- tors were transferred to other schools or to the offices of the Board of Education. A number of substitutes have made stays that lengthened into months and years. To all our mentors we give this word of appreciation and thanks. The story of the year and its influence in our lives cannot be fully told as yet. As occasions arise we shall know the measure of our friends, the faculty. 12

How to make boys and girls feel secure in their high school was the theme of the P.1rent-Te.1cher Association this year. The various phases of this topic were taken up at regular sessions the third Wed- nesday afternoon of each month. After the business, discussion, and entertainment, each meeting closed with 1 social half hour at which time refreshments were served, usually including the cnkes or cookies for which Brighton mothers have won renown.
