Class of lune l938 Q CLASS OFFICERS President CHARLES MCVAY Vice President CHESTER IABLONSKI Secretary MARIE GREEN Treasurer NICK KAMZIC It is with mingled pride and regret that we peruse another completed chap- ter in the book of our educational life. With pride, because we feel that our graduating class, the largest since Kelly's origin, has added new laurels to the growing reputation of our school: with regret, because our hearts are heavy at the thought of parting with instructors and fellow students, whose mem- ories we cherish so dearly. The fascination and inspiration we experienced upon enrolling in Septem- ber, '34, and the thoughts, ambitions, and dreams we sustained during the following four years will remain forever verdant in our hearts. As our Sopho- more year became a reality, the challenge of high school life induced us to aspire to individual goals. Participation in various social and scholastic activities ensued: our latent talents came into prominence. Our Iunior year saw us on the brink of high school maturity. We began to realize the significance of our abilities and endeavored to further their de- velopment. Some donated their journalistic talents to the Clarion , while others made dramatic history with their superb performance of Polishing Papa . Eventually, we became what we had been longing to be-Seniors! With this rating came work and closer contact with our fellow students. Now as we discard our robes on graduation night, our last intimate con- nections with our school will be severed, but the memories of those days are milestones, erected in our hearts. We pause, and pass the torch to the eager hands below, that wave farewell! We go forth to appease our unquenchable thirst for knowledge. What lies ahead? Obstacles, hopes, dreams-more fields to conquer!
