E'5 a Senior class officers, Albert Rottinghaus, Jim Rottinghaus, and Maurice Huerter, discuss college plans with their spiritual advisor, Father Vincent. with the dawn of the l962-1963 school year, we seniors faced the reality of being the oldest class in high school. The school year began by the choosing of class officers, Maurice Huerter, presidentg Albert Rottinghaus, vice-president, and James Rottinghaus, secretary-treasurer. Class sponsor was Sister Dolorita, O.S.B. Following our motto, WFortune Favors the Braven, and guided by our class patron, St. Jerome, the class of '63 made this a successful year. Some class favorites included our flower, the water lily, and colors, coral and azure blue. The class experienced many exciting activities which accompany being a senior. Among these were the annual Halloween dance, senior pictures, sneak day, and the style show staged by the home econom- ics girls. But all seniors agreed, that the 1963 Hi-Lites proved to be the greatest task. The high point of the year, nevertheless, was graduation with its mixed emotions of being proud of our achievements and yet, hating to see those school days never to return.
