But success in today's world depends not so much on the past as it does on the future. Therefore, the twenty-fifth graduating class of Kelly High School dedicates its Hi-Lites to the future students of K.H.S. It is significant to note that the twenty-fifth graduating class has the honor of receiving th eir diplomas in anew gymnasium. This fact indicates that confidence in their high school exists among the people of Kelly. Future students will inherit the responsibility of maintaining that confidence. But an even greater duty will burden future students of K.H.S. For it will be their record of achievement that will either sustain the life of the school or sounds its death bell. Their reaction to the challenge will decide whether or not we may one day return to help the golden jubilee class celebrate its graduation.
