V. team. There were three chorus members, and two bandmen in the ranks. At Athletic Council sessions, Joyce Laing and Scott Dunlap served as class representatives. From the standpoint of fiscal undertakings, the class has had a successful year. Two movies, a bake sale, and other activities to raise funds for their senior trip required a great deal of time and energy. The class contributed five varsity players, two J. V. members, and four cheerleaders to athletics at Kellogg this past season. Nine were in chorus, and nine class members participated in the band. Many poems, stories, pictures, discussions, rhythms, games, songs and short trips around the neighborhood helped us to better understand the world around us. Over one hundred stories, brought from home by the children and taken from our school library, were read to the children to help broaden their interests and understandings.
