CLLSS HISTORY We have been a small but mighty group all throng: the years. During our Freshman year, Viola Haynes and Thelm Fairbairn moved away from Treadwell, leaving us with five members -- we have maintained that number since. Uhen we were sophomores Alida leerhelm was President, Effie Doring was Vice President 'and Lee. Archibald ns Secre- tary-Treasurer. Social get-to-gathers were the rage of that 'yOl.!'e In our Junior. year, Dick lickhal was President of the class. In the spring he became the victim of rheumatic fever and was out of school for two months. Effie Doring was Vice President and made the acceptance speech from the Junior Clase during loving Up Exercises. At last we have reached the coveted title 'Senior Glass . We chose Effie to 'be our President, Dick-our Vice President, Alida as -Secretary and Lee as Treasurer, to handle all our money. Our money raising campaign started with mgasine sales. Then we worked hard, with the cooperation of several members of the Sophomore and Junior classes, to present 'Everything Happens to Us' our Senior play. Irs. IcGu.1.ness directed the play. Our dances were not too successful financially, although we had a good time at each. On April 18 came the big day, we left for our trip to New York. Accompanied by llr. and Irs. Davidson, and driven by George Ulmer, we rode to Albany in a school station wagon. From Albany we went on the train to New York. So many pleasant memories were collected during those five days in -llew York, that I .cannot put them on paper. We stayed at the Hotel New Yorker. Among the high spots on the trip were, the Baseball game at Yankee Stadium, the Easter pagaent at Radio lusic Hall, the Rockettes, 'Howdy Mr. Ioe , and the Musical Gomed lhere'.s Charliei' with nay Bolger. We felt that our tri was well planned, very educational and worth while. It cor alnly will never be forgotten. le are concludlngxour mjor activities of the year vlth the publishing of the ellogg1an . It is with a great deal of gratitude to our teachers, the Board of Education and our Parents and s feeling of mingled joy and regret that we reach our goal -- Graduation. We shall never forget the friendships we have formed at Kellogg High School and we hope Kellogg won't forget us.
