PRINCIPAL W. CHESTER B. GOTTSHALL The United States Government has requested that citi- zens curtail many of their activities, and that they elimin- ate the non-essential for the duration of the war. The ao- tivity life of Kellogg Central School has been acutely af- Pected this year, as we have conscientiously tried to follow this edict of our civilian and military leaders with patri- otic enthusiasm. For this reason the readers of the 1945 KELLOGGIAN will miss the athletic write-ups and related ac- tivities which have played such a prominent role in its past editions. The senior class canceled many of its scheduled pub- lic dances and the annual spring trip to New York City. Graduation exercises have been abbreviated. Our students made these small sacrifices cheerfully, so that our armed forces may gain the final victory more quickly. We know that by enduring these minor inconveniences at this time of cri- sis and emergency, we are helping to speed up the return to a normal educational program in a normal world. S
