THE FIRST STEP The goal of the first and second grade children was to learn how to live as a group and to acquire worthwhile skills and attitudes. By studying community life and the people who help us each day,they learned to respect the work of others. By their group activities, they learned to share their ideas and to co-operate with each other in order to attain their goals. They took part in the Junior Red Cross activities and attempted to do their share to help as far as possible. - Through reading and discussion, the children became more conscious of their health needs and habits.
