With the aid of Mr. Hveem, the golf team set up golf matches with the Coeur d'Alene and Wallace golf teams. Each player did well to represent KI-IS in the best way. The matches were always played on Saturday mornings in rain or shine. This group did much to promote golf interest for young people in our community. TRACK TEAM ll!! The track team, although inexperienced, did well in representing our school in track meets. The boys practiced diligently after school at the local ball park and attended the meets on Saturday. In many meets they were competing against fellows with much, much more experience. 79
