COED DANCE CHINA DOLL 5-7 . .ddegx A f 2 1 S Es 2 vgsniii K kk A Q, e . Coed King candidates, L. to R.: Jesse Hagerman, Bill Rember, 1958 King Pat Powers, Mike Blackbird. The Future Homemakers of America held their second annual Coed Dance in October. The dance theme, China Doll was carried out with lanterns, dragons and oriental signs. The king's throne was a huge fan of pink and white paper napkins while the ceiling was ofblue and black crepe paper. Each ticket purchased allowed one vote for the Coed King. The dance being serni-formal and girl ask boy was well attended and a huge success. 62

SENIOR BALL EVENING IN PARIS Oui! Oui! An evening in gay Paree! This was the exciting mood created by the outstanding decorations at the Senior Ball. Champagne and perfume bottles adorned the walls. A huge mural depicting scenes along the River Seine was the center of attraction as couples danced under twinkling stars hanging from the ceiling.

The entrance way, showing the huge clown's mouth. This was painted by three of the class' artistic boys. Brightly painted masks hung around on the walls to be taken as souvenirs of a beautiful prom. JR. PRCM Decorating to the theme of Mardi Gras, the junior class presented their first formal dance. The class used bright shades of red, orange, yellow, green, and blue crepe paper for their walls and ceiling. The entrance was a huge clown's mouth and the back wall was of white napkins with a serpent winding across it. Music was supplied by the fabulous Blue Jeans. Couples dancing while overhead hang bright balloons of many shapes and sizes. In the background is the white wall of napkins.
