It was a huge surprise to Doctor Haggett and his family when they learn that the few paintings were worth a fortune. A mad scramble ensues with fake art dealers from New York trying to buy the pictures for a small price. Finally it is revealed, though, that Abby, the maid, is the rightful owners of the famous paintings. Naturally she refuses to sell them, which makes everyone very unhappy. THE LATE CHRIS BEAN SR. Perhaps one of the most inspirational and outstanding plays ever seen on the KHS stage was the 1959 All-School Play, Our Town. Written by Thornton Wilder and produced by Mr. Howard Dorgan, the story evolved around a typical small town, Grovers Corners, New Hampshire. The first act was a typical day in the lives of the Gibbs and Webbs The second act concerned the wedding of George Gibbs and Emily Webb. The third act was a grave scene where Emily dies, but returns to life to live over one day. No props were used and the audience was called upon to use their imaginations. The lighting, however, created a beautiful effect.

SENIOR BALL EVENING IN PARIS Oui! Oui! An evening in gay Paree! This was the exciting mood created by the outstanding decorations at the Senior Ball. Champagne and perfume bottles adorned the walls. A huge mural depicting scenes along the River Seine was the center of attraction as couples danced under twinkling stars hanging from the ceiling.
