Easy Way out. Co-op classes provide for job-oriented students Co-op training - was this just an easy way to get out of school early? Maybe so, but Co-op provided experience for the job-oriented student. Co-op has helped me to understand the way distributon channels work and why items cost the prices that they do, said Junior Anne Daniels. Co-op gave the students a chance to work and still receive credit for it. Experience in working and applying for jobs are essential aids. The students study basic marketing concepts on the job, said Mrs. Lisa Greco, Co-op training sponsor and teacher. Greco felt that the students received practical job knowledge, not only in the field of marketing, but for any position that they held. Greco felt with the rising cost of college today and with the unemployment tate also rising, students needed the experience they received in Co-op just to compete for entry level positions and to pay for college expenses that their parents may not be able to meet. - LEA ANN TOLLIVER Easy does it - Senior Rex Mobley, stocker at Food Fair accomplishes one of his many duties, to stack paper towels in such a way that they do not fall. 4 ...D- I t ta 1 Q J .35 w., .
