i 1' ,K s fe 'l 0 ii 'as 'Friends are friends forever' Dreams come true - New hairdos and manicures to tuxedos and formals characterized the juniorfSenior Prom. The theme was Friends Forever. The col- ors were pink and dove gray. The flower was the rose, and the song was Friends Are Friends Forever. The prom took place in the Grand Ballroom at the Fort Worth Worthington Hotel on Saturday, May 17. After junior Class President Scott Blankenship welcomed everyone and Prin- cipal Bill Newton gave the invocation, din- ner was served. After dinner, the junior and Senior Class officers were introduced, followed by a video covering the special events that took place during the year. Senior Paige Bradley gave the Senior farewell and Senior Anissa Wilson started 1 X 28 juniorfSenior Prom as memories are made the candle ceremony. It really unites the seniors, said senior Robbie Hess. After that was the Senior dance, and the Senior garter ceremony followed by the junior Dance and the junior garter ceremony. It was really a special time for me. Everything was decorated very beautifully, said junior Darla Ellis. The prom itself was a very moving ex- perience. I thought the juniors really did a great job saying good-bye to the Seniors. I think the prom made the Seniors feel proud, and not sad about leaving, said freshman Tisha Williams. The juniorfSenior Prom was a night everyone will remember. As their motto said - The dreams of today are memories of tomorrow! -- CINDY MAYS wav f 'ilk S' Mgr This is it! - Senior Derek Sharp smiles as he makes his farewell speech. Goodbye . ,. so soon - Seniors participate in the candlelighring ceremony as they say goodbye to fellow Seniors.
