Homecoming game. e spirit fades awa As the graduation ceremony approached and the text books issued to us were turned in, each of us thought not only about our futures, but also about the school year that was quickly com- ing to an end. However, more than just an ordinary year was ending for the Keller High School student body of 1986. Moreso than in algebra, English or physics, we professed in the subjects that would carry us through in our futures. We each learned of ourselves, others and life itself. In ourselves, we saw that we could be achievers and we could succeed. With our peers, we shared in triumphs and pitfalls. We ex- isted with our fellow students in a way that taught us that life does have something to give and that, with each defeat we suf- fered, we could bounce back and be stronger than ever before. So, when we look to our futures and move out into the world, we carry with us an idea our school has taught us well, a feeling that made being with our peers more than simply going to school. This was the spirit that brought us closer together than we had ever been before. And so, we take with us this ideal - the spirit of Keller High School. - DAVID HAYNES AND DIANA WILLIAMS Closing 257 V 9 . 7 , '-fra
