At the District 4A 7 Track Meet, April 22 at Boswell High School, the Varsity team set a school record. The previous record for the spring relay had been 43.5, but with the four man team of Lewis Fournier, Cary McKay, Rod Dearing and Spencer McCoruit, the record was shattered when they stopped to clock at 43.18. Other team members who helped the team rise to the top were Tim Bouma, who finished 4.37 in the mile rung Paul Hammeke, whose high jump equaled 6.35 Dake jackson, whose 126 Boys Track Win-.,, . Y f shot flew 49.3g Tim Theodore, who vaulted 12 feet, and Rod McNamar who came in at 2.02 in the 800. ' The junior Varsity track also did an exceptional job this season. Freshman Kurt Fournier ran 11.4 in the 100, and 3.46 in the mile relay. C. B. Crouder achieved a 45.2 in the 300 in- termediate hurdles, and Barry Dikes vaulted over the l00f 10 high hurdles.
