The veterans: wise and experienced captain Scott Brown, the witty and resourceful David lVlcl:!ae,the illogical and insane Ivlike Foy, and the new talents: talented Nliohelle Workman, eager to learn Lisa Johnson, practical and dynamic Lynette Vango, and great potential, David Saust. The Debate Team has terminated the career of more enemy debators than any other high school team. Kellam is noted for its 'l -2 counterplan punch, the fiat shuffle and the cross X kick. The team's style has livened many a boring debate. Sarcasm and humor are KelIam's best weapons on the debate bat- tlefield. With the indescribable leadership of lvlrs. .Joanne Lewis, the Debate Team has worked to provide the wins the school needs. In fact, it's much more than that. The cheer, leaders work all year to support each and every team and promote school spirit. This year the cheerleaders spon- sored a pep rally, held a bonfire, and honored the atheletes by holding breakfasts and dinners for the lVlC1lJlf1lJFJl Lezirrv. In the sornrner-, the ngir lu attended a bheerilearjirmg camp at William and lvlary College where they won the NCSA Spirit Stick award.
