International Relations Club members wash cars to raise money for at Q their trip to New York. i By simply allowing inter- ested students to collectively study and interpret the political and economic relations be- tween the countries of the world, the International Rela- tions Club promotes an interest in world affairs. Because the club is primarily academic, the eligibility of members is deter- mined by maintaining a C average with no grade lower than a By participating in the mock security council held annually at Old Dominion University and by attending various U.S. and Foreign Policy Seminars, the International Relations Club members acquainted themselves with the problems and crises facing most coun- tries in the turbulent era. Hoping to finance its way to New York to participate in the mock United Nations, the club members sponsored a newspa- per drive and washed an end- less number of cars. Attempting to consolidate learning and entertainment, the club has offered its members new experiences and has en- veloped them in an atmosphere of pride and sophistication. Q is XX'- -' 4 :-4 CLUB.
