Mr. Dorosz. rt Club Adds ibrant Color To School Eventsg Promotes Patriotism Through Flag Patch Project During the Senior Awards Assembly this year, the Kellam Art Club gave two seniors the Silver Palet Award. At the end of the year, they also gave a scholarship to a deserving graduate. The Kellam Art Club, whose purpose is to serve Kellam. decorated the cafeteria this year for Christmas with scenes from Dr. Suess's childrens classic, How the Grinch Stole Christmas. They also decorated the cafeteria during National Lunch Week. At Homecoming the Art Club float won second place to the satisfaction of all members that t participated. The Art Club sold flag patches to students, faculty, and residents of the community. They also sold silk-screening I for t-shirts: anyone who brought in a t-shirt could get it silk-screened. Officers this year were: president, Kathy Littleg vice- president, Cray Wombleg secretary, Iulie Kinnerg and trea- surer, Valerie Iones. Sponsors were Mr. Dorosz and Mrs. Mary Levi.

In March, the Debate and Forensics Club participated in a district meet. Members of this Kellam club met every Tuesday after school to hold practice debates and to coordinate and develop other areas of Forensics. The purpose of the Debate and Forensics Club is to further instruct the student members in various fomis of public speaking and interpretation and to enhance their interest in these areas. Officers of this year's Debate and Forensics Club were: pres- ident, Mike Tate: vice-president, and secretary, Nelson Amis. Cuiding and sponsoring this young group of people was Miss Mary Ariail.
