Bah Knights Conquer Princess Anne, Oscar Smith The junior varsity basketball team. under the direction of Coach Iohnny Morris. had a disappointing season with a record of two wins and sixteen losses. Led by co- eaptains Kenny Bazemore and Tony Davis, the baby Knights conquered Princess Anne and Oscar Smith, but they usually lost in the closing minutes of their other games as they made too many mistakes. Bill Hobbs. Kenny Bazemore, and Tony Dairs were the leading scorers. and Richard Sandstrom, Sam Baker, and Bryan Iones were consistent rebounders. lim Perkins, a lreshman, developed a hot hand in many games to keep the scores close. Andy Hershey was the playmaker whose chief iob was to set up the team and call a play. Kenny Sullivan. Chris Midcalf, Allen Dowell, and Robert Katt dial not see much action. but they were always ready to go in when the coach called. Many ot' these boys will move up to the varsity team next year: only Iim Perkins will remain.
