gif 22 E m 2523 'Dedication T is with pleasure that we take this opportunity to express our appreciation to Sprague W. Drenan for his valuable and untiring guidance and help, by dedicating this yearbook to him. Students who have been fortunate enough to have studied under Mr. Drenan know the feeling of appreciation which We are trying to express: and perhaps this fact is reward enough for a good teacher and a fine man. H1429 i mma EQQQMQL 25:7 AL IIIIT As this Kronicle Yearbook of 1935 comes from the press, we come to the end of another school year. For some of us, it marks the beginning of a new career- teaching. For the undergraduates, it marks the com- pletion of another step in the realization of their ambi- tions. In no sense can this Yearbook be a closed book. We are at the beginning of an educational career which we can never quite complete. For one, two, three, or four years we have lived here at Keene Normal School. The pages of this book serve as a reminder of those tri- umphs and failures we have experienced. Nothing can ever rob us of those cherished memories-the hikes, the athletic games, the pranks, the parties, the tests, and the term papers. In life, as in school, we will have our daily respon- sibilities. Some we will shirk, but most of them we will carry successfully to fulfillment. Our associations here at school, with instructors, students, and others, will help us to see our duties and privileges in a clearer. saner, more thoughtful light. Let us forget our fail- ures and strive continually for successes. Some of our daily tasks may seem irksome, but let us remember that in life, as in school: .. .Yesterday is but a Dream And Tomorrow is only a Vision: But Today well lived Makes every Yesterday a Dream of Happiness, And every Tomorrow a Vision of Hope. LALICE UPToN, Editor-In-Chief. rigs' Sw
