Memoriam On behalf of the entire school family, past and present, the Board of Education of Keene Central School expresses its sorrow at the passing of Doctor A.R. Goff on March 24, 1980. Very few com- munities ever have or ever will receive from a single talented individual such quality and quan- tity of almost sixty years of civic and professional services. In particular, we wish to record our profound gratitude for the many years during which Doctor Goff so generously donated his services as Board member and President, and as school doctor of Keene Central School. Mr. Denniston was an edu- cator for most of his lifetime. He came to K.C.S. in 1948 to teach business education subjects. During his tenure in our school, Mr. Denniston taught Latin and Social Studies for many years, and also served as an assistant to the Principal. He is also to be remembered for his supportive role in athletics, as well as coach of the school’s golf team. In an indirect capacity, he served the youth of our school as a Boy Scout Master for over ten years, prior to his retirement in 1965. 2
