“
We honor Mrs. Richard Lane because of the effect she has had on our lives. She was always there with a smile and a pleasant comment. She just had a special way to make you feel good—and she meant it from her heart. Her presence is missed by everyone and will be until she returns to our Valley. We know she will continue to have a happy approach on life and hope that she will share her love with her new friends as she has with us. This year we all wish to pay a tribute to an outstanding person, Mrs. Frank Huchro. Mrs. Huchro has chosen this year to retire from our school after many years of dedicated service. It is a good feeling and always will be to know such a beautiful person. She is not only our teacher, but more important, our friend. We will all miss Mrs. Huchro. We are not saying good- bye, but more appropriately so long because she will always continue to be a part of our lives. Many wishes for a long and pleasant retirement, Mrs. Huchro—we all love you! It should be kept in mind that we only see each of them within the limited environment of the educational institution. This has been done in a positive sense and we hope that all readers will share our joy of having known each of the members of the Class of 1977 of Keene Central School. DAVE BESSEY has a great potential in just about anything he decides he wants to work at. He is a diamond in the rough. He can be impulsive, but becomes reasonable once he sees the situation. Dave is stubborn. However, this trait proves to be valuable as he applies it to his work at school and outside. SUSAN BIGELOW is a soft-spoken, self-assured individual. She is eager to help others. She can and does find fault with some of her environment, but she does so in a dignified manner. Susan is certainly not afraid of a challenge and is finding her own way in life. MIKE ESTES is a pleasant, easy-going person who is always ready for a relaxed debate on just about any topic. He can be silly, intimidate, and be intimidated, all with a friendly smile that makes it difficult to become angry with him. One quote that may best sum up Mike's personality is one day he left and his shadow didn't know he moved. CURTIS HALL does things his own way. He is a loner and is not afraid to be different, as long as he knows he is right. He is a self-disciplined person. He knows how to stand on his own two feet. He shows an interest in a variety of things—even to the point of sometimes going a bit over-board. ROBIN HALL is an intelligent person with a good sense of humor. She is quick to give her opinion on a variety of topics. She works hard to reach her goals. Robin also has excellent creative possibilities. ELLEN LeCLAIR has the ability to be extremely even-tempered, pleasant, and cooperative. She has the capacity to perform in an excellent manner just about anything she desires to do. Ellen is a fighter for what she believes to be right. ART MACE has recently changed from a quiet, reserved person to a man who lets his presence be known. He can get along with just about anyone. Art will find many doors open for him in the future. KIRK MITCHELL seldom opens his mouth unless he has something to say. He has a good sense of humor and imagination—sometimes on the devilish side. Kirk knows what he wants and heads in that direction. He has an impressive appearance and leadership potential. TIM WHITNEY is his own man. He is not subject to social pressure. He truly seems to enjoy work—usually. Tim is always ready with a good smile and a friendly warm feeling. We only regret that we didn't see him more often. Teachers may forget us, they have new students to worry about; who will remember us? Will we be some more past for Keene Central School? Will you all forget us? Or will we be remembered, the Class of '77! We will not forget you all, because you helped us get here every step of the way, and we worked hard with you to get here. We will not be forgotten for we are the 1977 class from Keene Central High School. SENIOR CLASS WILL I, ELLEN LE CLAIR, do hereby bequeath to DEBORAH ZELINSKI my American Heritage.
