Tn A{emeriam If you have knowledge, by it. let others light their candles Thomas Puller Iva Marcott Iva Marcott, a graduate of Plattsburg Normal, came to our school system in 1956 and left it in 1969. During the first three years she taught both the first and second grades. When they were divided, she chose to teach the second grade. She was an excellent teacher and well loved by all of her students. Her room was always cheerful and gay as she decorated it for every season and holiday. The students here at Keene Central never forgot her Christmas parties and beautiful presents. The faculty and staff missed Iva greatly when she left us. She was congenial, cooperative and always ready to do her share. Glenn Bickford Glenn Bickford, a graduate of Buffalo State, also joined our faculty in 1956 and stayed with us thriugh 1975. He was indeed well liked and respected as a teacher, carrying both the fifth and sixth grade programs for the first three years. Then he chose the fifth grade as his field when they were divided. During his years at Keene Central he was the science curriculum co-ordinator, the President of the Teachers Assoc- iation and Vice-Principal as well as heading up many worthwhile projects. During the summers of 1957-1962 he was the Youth Director of the summer program in the town of Keene. Another achievement was his successful teaching of leather craft to adult education classes five different years. There are many fine articles still in use that were made under his guidence. The lasting impression that we have of Mr. Bickford is one of friendliness, helpfulness, stability, dependability, and cooperation in every facet of our system.
