Keene Central has undoubtedly seen the fluctuations of change In many ways of which I am happy to be a part. The essence of a satisfactory yearbook lies In the acceptance of the concept that the school Is an educa- tional Institution providing the setting for a program properly balancing curricular and extra-curricular activities. Although we were late in the initial preparation of this annual, we hope it partly fullfills Its mis- sion as a photojournalistic report or record of the school’s activities. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the many people who have, in some way, helped in this publication» In particular my deepest thanks to editors Valarie McDonough, Betsy Nye, Jo-ann Manley and Erin McDonough. I know they sacrificed many enjoyable evenings only to listen to my complaints. Yet they conquered an almost impossible goal. Without their cooperation, dedication and eagerness this book would never have been possible.
