L WHAT ' S IT LIKE TO BE A SENIOR! What does being a senior really mean? To some it means more responsibility, priviledges, and prestige over underclassmen. And to others it means only one more year of homework, classes, and receiving diplomas. But to all it means setting higher goals, applying to colleges, and the feeling of becoming an adult. We interviewed some seniors and here are a few responses: Being a senior to me means the fulfillment of my goals that are important to me. It means maturity in a sense, because I ' ve lost most of the childishness I had in my younger years. It also means growth. Being a senior is something to be proud of; it is a goal worth fulfilling. — NICOLE SMITH To be called a senior makes one feel more mature. As a senior you must accept the responsibilities given to you. You should help others. I personally like being looked up to. It may be hard to be a role model but, I ' ll overcome. Overall it is a fulfilling experience to remember for all times. — DEXTER MARCUS PRIMUS Being a senior is more than just being called a senior. Being a senior is a very meaningful experience. You must act like a senior; have pride and self-esteem. Along with being a senior comes responsibility. You must learn how to accept those responsibilities and go on with your life. — SHANAl CHRISTOPHER It means that I only have 138 more days left in high school. But seriously, it means that I have prestige and priority over the underclassmen. Now, I am beginning to really look forward to college life!
