V ' ' THE RdNnifiG RAIDERS ' ' E After losing five starters due to grad- uation, the Keenan High basketball team still managed to post a winning record. The young team proved, not only to themselves, but to the mem- bers of the Region 5-AAA Conference that they would be very difficult to de- feat. The team proved that they were a SHOOTING FOR SUCCESS tough team to beat by defeating A.C. Flora and defeating C.A. Johnson, twice. With only one senior starting, the talented team posted a mark better than last year ' s team. With Travis Gar- rett, Andre Bovain, and Bobby Davis returning, the Raiders have bright hope for the future. It took hard work, determination, and excellent coaching by Coach Trapp to be as successful as we have been. Those were the words of returning guard Travis Garrett about the success the team has had. RAIDERETTE FEVER ' ' ON THE ROAD TO THE PLA YOFFS do. whether its on or off the court. The varsity girls are on their way to the playoffs. Their overall record is 11-3, 7- 1 in conference play. The Raiderettes have worked hard for this chance and plan to take advantage of this opportu- nity. Under the direction of Coach Van McCloud, the girls always strive for ex- cellence on the court. They exert so much team spirit on as well as off the court. It takes a lot of hard work to make the playoffs, but these girls are no strangers to hard work.
