A well-balanced and co-ordinated cur- riculum of business education courses gave the students adequate preparation for the business world. The usual courses: typing, shorthand, bookkeeping, and general busi- ness were offered. In addition to these, a course in vocational office training was open to seniors. from the Business Education courses The course in distributive education was open to girls and boys, and gave them classroom work and on-the-job experience. Students in the advanced typing classes helped with the typing for the TOMAHAWK and the class papers put out by the journalism students. A course in personal typing was offered, and many college-bound students availed themselves of this opportunity to acquire a useful skill.
