The Kearsley High School Band has participated in nearly all the school activities throughout the year.. At the home games the initial lettdrs of the opponent were formed. They led in the Armistice Day parade and played for The P.T.A. and Kearsley Men's Club. Fred Nagengast tried out at Fenton and made Second Division plus on his rating sheet, which entitles him to play at Ann Arbor April l8, 1947. In the Beginals the band placed in Division II. They will compete at Ann Arbor April l9,l947. The school has purchased about S1500 worth of new uniforms, including a set of drum majorette suits. We owe all of our success this year to our able director Mr. Lindholm, who has directed the band for the past four years, and to the co-operation which we received in enforcing the articles of the band constitution. The officers of the club are: H. Marsden, president, H. Ladd, vice-president, V. Sprague, treasurer, C. Giguere, secretary.
