' I 50 ., -l As soon as KEARSARGE was close enough to hear, the Atlantic Fleet Band began to play and the cheers began. KEARSARGE was home and the crowd made sure every Sailor knew how happy they were. At the right moment the ligers were allowed to join the Sailors as they manned the rails and the moment was truly spectacular.
