I dream things that never were and say, why not. Robert F. Kennedy These words encompass my hopes for each of you in the class of 1971. Knowing and working with you has only increased my faith in you and your ability to succeed. WHY NOT be the generation that makes the “American Dream” a reality? WHY NOT be the generation that contributes most to American intellectual and cultural life? WHY NOT be the generation that is vitally aware of the needs of the poor in our country and abroad? WHY NOT be the generation that cures the mental and physical diseases that beset mankind? WHY NOT be the generation that is aware of the good in its present but wants the best in its future? WHY NOT be the generation that gives the world what it needs the most Peace, Happiness, and Love? I will remember you always — God Bless you. Your sponsor.
