Included in their many activities were the Sophomore Wigwalk, Christmas Card Sale, Junior Prom at the Meadowbrook, Class Trip and Senior Farewell. Officers of the 12A Class this term are: Joe Ciriaco, president; Teresa Piwaski, vice president; Teresa Oblazney, secretary; and Jo Anne Pallante, treasurer. Under the sponsorship of Mrs. Dorothy Shoemaker the January '57 class has had four successful and happy years in Kearny High. Among their activities were the Junior Prom with the theme “Unforgettable,” “Serenade in Blue,” the senior dance, two sophomore dances and the Christmas Card sale. Officers of the sophomore class are James Fucestola, president; Robert Melvin, vice president; Pat Sznopek, secretary; and Robert Gomez, treasurer. Mr. F. Beisler, the class sponsor, stated that during the year “Rock in Your Socks,” and “The Shamrock Shuffle” were sponsored by the class. 10B class officers are Rosemarie Pappas, president; Richard Thomson, vice president; Julie DeStefano, treasurer; Isobel McDonald, secretary. Homeroom representatives of the class are Thomas Finelli, Lillian Collamore, George Duncan, Aldona Skripkus, Julie DeStefano, Ronald Davie, Linda Hold-gate, and Pat Coggiano. Miss Media Holcn is the class sponsor. Mr. Frederick Rosenberg, 9A class sponsor, has announced the results of the class election are Brian Johnson, president; Jaith Benson, vice president; June Perry, secretary; and Saburo Matsushita, treasurer. The class dues have been collected and the balance of the class treasury is $50.00.
