Two afternoon dances co-sponsored by the 11A-11B classes were “the Sleighride Swing” and “St. Paddy’s Jig ”. The 1 1A class have been busy selling Christmas cards, ribbons and wrappings. 1 1A officers were Donald Monaco, president; Martin Kingman vice president; Harriet Parsons, secretary; and Mary Ann Oblanzney. treasurer. SENIORS Under the sponsorship of Miss Leah Skelton and Mrs. Shirley Greenfield, the present seniors have spent four happy and exciting year in Kearny High School. In November the senior classes sponsored the three act comedy “Harvey . Later the classes held the successful “Haystack Jamboree”. SOPHOMORES “Snowflake Swirl” was the name given to the afternoon frolic sponsored by the sophomore classes. Al Brown has served as president of the 10A class for this year. The other officers have been vice president, Joe Pisapia; secretary, Caralyn Southwood; and treasurer, Tatsuo Matsushita.
