Ghosts and Goblins Roam the Halls Students and teachers alike got in the spirit of Halloween by dressing up in their favorite costumes. The 500 build- ing received cupcakes from the A.S.B. for the biggest percentage of costumes. During lunch, the first annual costume contest was held on the senior patio. First, second, and third place trophies were awarded to the students with the best costumes. First place went to Lori Monroe and jeff Sultana dressed as Raggedy Ann and Andy. Followed by Bettina Seabourne, Jana Stankewicz, Kathy Wilcox and Linda McGibney as Kiss and Terri Honda as Egore. An hon- orable mention was given to Howard Dumont dressed as death. Members of the sophomore class de- livered Halloween suckers to class- rooms during 2nd and 3rd period. All in all, everyone had a great day getting in the mood for parties and good times on All Hallow's Eve. New acquaintances were made as Kearny stu- dents discovered new faces lurking around the campus. Court This years ROTC Court consisted of three hard working girls. Each girl being equally proud to be a part of the ROTC. Queen Brenda Bogner followed by her Attendants, First: Sharon Latimer Second: Maria Mynatt are respected throughout the whole ROTC program. One of the most memorable highlights of the year was the ROTC Ball. It was held on May 5 at the Al Bahr Temple.
