Who's Who in the Class of '64 Students honored in this section were selected by the Faculty DIANN JUVRUD Kearny has been very tortunate to have had Diann as a student tor the past three years. She has served the school as President ot K. D. K., Song Leader, Student Choir Director and as a participant in the Americans Abroad pro- gram. Along with all these activities she has managed to maintain a B+ average and an extremely good citizenship record. LARRY SHEPARD Larry has proven to be one ot Kearn 's best athletes as well as being a very outstanding student. As quarterback tlor three years he has led Kearny's toot- ball team to two Western League championships and one C. I. F. title. l-le has also been an active member ot Varsity Basketball and Baseball. Larry has not only excelled in athletics but has also participated in Boys' Fed., Key Club. Letterman's Club and has been on the annual statt tor two years serving as Sports Editor tor the '64 Komet. DIRK MOUS Dirk has been outstanding as Editor ot the '64 Komet. Without his untailing help it would have been impossible to produce a yearbook ot its caliber. ln addition to this ditticult task he served the school in many other ways. Dirk was President ot his Junior class, a member ot the Key Club, C.S.F., A.S.F.. and the French Club. His many activities have taken a great amount ot time and yet he has managed to aquire 'one ot the tinest academic records in his graduating class.
