Mr. Ralph Smith, vice-principal and boys' counselor, has devoted much time to the increasing sports' activities. He has helped Co-ordin- ate the intramural sports with com- peting city schools. Majoring iin Zoology, P. E., and Education, Mr. Smith obtained his AB degree at State College, his Master's Degree at U.C., at Berke- ley, and his administrating creden- tial at U. S. C. He is active in athletics and enjoys his family. Miss Kathryn Markey, Dean of Girls, sponsors of the leadihg girls' organizations of the s c h o ol. Through her efforts, students' activ- ities have increased in frequence and enjoyment. Miss Markey attended the Uni- versity of Colorado, U. C. L.
