Girls Take Trophies ABOVE: Kathy Banzaca puts dis- tance between herself and her opponents . 64 LEFT: Girls' Corss-Country . FRONT ROW: Claire Cross- nohere, Mary Murphy, Phyllis Causa . 2nd ROW: Coach Walter Mewes, Mary E. Cusick, Gloria Gleason, Sharon Watson. BELOW: Trophy Winners Sharon Watson, Donna Troupe and Kathy Banzaca. In spite of an 0-4 record , the girls' cross-country team did well in their invitational meets. At Mater Dei, medals were taken by freshman Kathy Banzaca for first place and by freshman Alene Hencoski for sixth place. Senior Donna Troupe took 10th place in the IV race. At the Key- port Invitational, trophies were won by Kathy Banzaca , for finishing first, and by Sharon Watson and Donna Troupe for 5th and 6th places respectively . In the Monmouth County Meet, Kathy Banzaca came in 20th out of 100 freshman runners.
