Office Runners FRONT ROW: Sue Kauffman, Diane Jackman, Laura Walters. BACK ROW: Kathy Flynn, Sharon Kagabines, Frank Peters, Ron Plummer, Maureen Harrington. What's a nice girl like me doing in a place like this? The club of office runners should be recognized for their efforts in assisting the adminis- trators and clerks in performing daily tasks. These students are willing to give up a study hall or free period in order to take over some of the tasks that, other- wise , the office staff would have to perform. The most outstanding students involved are Sharon Kagabines, Martha Winter, and Paul Plum- mer. These people, along with many other dedicated office run- ners, are always reliable and eager to carry out their duties which made the job just a little easier for the office staff and administrators .

The purpose of the Nurse's Club is to acquaint students with careers in health fields, and to promote information useful in health needs. To learn everything they could in this science related club, spe- cial trips were planned to River- view Hospital, and Monmouth County Blood Bank, King James Nursing Home , and Patterson Army Hospital. Guest speakers were invited who were authori- ties in various health related fields. All of the students who were associated with this club gained the experience of dealing with the people on a person to person basis daily. One member, senior Diane Crowl, decided to further her education after graduation by studying to become a nurse. Another club that is eagerly recognized is the teachers' aides. They also give up their free time in an effort to take some of the paper work from the teachers, therefore giving them more time to teach their classes and to prepare the next day's les- sons. Some of their duties are tedious, like marking and recording homework assignments and tests, but they also get a chance to teach the students. This can give a student a totally new outlook on the jobs of their teachers. All in all this is a ded- icated club which can be relied on to carry out their daily duties. 120 purses Club FIRST ROW: Georgette Alafouzos, Jackie Fitzsimmons, Cindy Valverdi, Deb bie Degraff , Carol Murawski.
