Campus Awareness, Festival Introduces Students To Activities Kean's campus was hop- ping during the annual Cam- pus Awareness Festival as numerous student leaders gathered on the Hutchinson green with a pen-in-hand to recruit new members for their groups. This event has become a tradition in help- ing students become ac- quainted with the many funded groups and greeks on campus. Student involve- ment is stressed to enhance everyone's education. This year the theme was Soar in 84 as a large air balloon was flying just above the football field. Radio sta- tion WKNJ contributed along with both student gov- ernments and Student Ac- tivities. Although the balloon nev- er actually soared, everyone involved in the festival did, as new friendships blos- somed and tomorrow's stu- dent leaders stepped for- ward. The Office of Student Activities recruited Keangers and sent them to various points on campus to inform everyone of the celebration. The festival continued throughout the day and into early evening hours. Numer- ous students were a part of the festival's planning and many others contributed as Keangers and student lead- ers. .
