September, the unofficial New Year whose eve is celebrated on Labor Day. Once peopled beaches now host only fat sea gulls and fudgsicle wrappers. The alarm clock is the morning tyrant and its buzz drags in the reality of an eight o'clock class. Rise and shine or maybe just rise. lVleet the faces-all of those faces all over again. lt's good to see you fwhatever your name isp . And some- times it really matters. Eightyesix million freshmen were admitted this year and they are all sitting in the snack bar, trying to rub off their newness.
