zdicatio n The exciting people of this world are the ones who are dedicated - who care. We would like to show our appreciation to one who cares - Mr. Mills - for his guidance and unselfish donation of time and effort to the class of '77. His integrity of purpose, his sound judgment, his warm friendly nature were qualities of character that secured respect and love. He loved his work with young people and he found joy in helping them find their way to growth and achievement. Time weaves these strands of thought into a pattern of cherished memories of Mr. Mills, a distinguished educator and unforgettable friend. To you, Mr. Mills, we dedicate this book. 20

”E1 mundo es ancho y aheno!” Thai Spanish proverb - The world is wide and strange! - may soon apply to you as graduates leaving the familiar and limited world of high school to venture out into a new world for you. For some this poses an immediate worry and problem. As for you, you have our confidence that you will immediately exercise the self-reliance that has been built up at Kaynor by virtue of your balanced education in skills for the world of work and in the use of your good minds educated to think. Remember that your schooling only provides you with REASONS for learning and THINGS to learn. The actual learning process is yours alone and the DESIRE TO CONTINUE to exercise it must also be yours. Another saying: The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. The Lord (we hope) led you to us, and now will be leading you away from us. Wherever that may be, may the road run smooth and lead you to a good life! Congratulations and best wishes. John L. Rossi JOHN L. ROSSI Director Congratulations to the Class of 1977 By pursuing a skilled vocation you have made yourself unique - remain that way.
