Class History In September of 1968 we entered this school as Freshmen. Strong, yet virtually unprepared for these 4 years which would change our lives so drastically. Most of us came to this school knowing only a few people but are leaving having a great number of friends. In our sophomore year there were new faces to be seen in our class. During this year we settled down to some serious work in both Aca- demic and Shop studies. We were told that our class advisors were to be Mr. Ober and Mr. Zimmerman. We discussed such things as: going on a Class trip, our rings, and the proms, which would take place in our Junior and Senior year. As it turned out, it was a good year all around; for our Soccer Team, Basketball Team, and Baseball Team won the M.R.C. Titles. Our soccer and basketball teams entered the State Tournament. Our Junior year became busier with the thoughts of our Prom, Rings, and the Yearbook. In January we got our rings and with that, came that certain pride that only a Kaynor Student has. In May the Junior Prom took place. It was well planned and was a very enjoyable night. This year ended with a big outdoor party at Mr. Obcr's home where somewhat more than 30 Juniors attended. Our Senior year became the most exciting and unforgettable of all the years. Our class took an exciting trip to New York to sec the New York Stock Exchange and the American Stock Exchange. The yearbook committee was finally underway with Armand Sticco presid- ing as Editor-in-Chicf. Our Senior Prom which was held June 9, 1972, was a most enjoyable night. Our senior class trip was enjoyed by all who went. It was a whole day spent at the Frank Davis Resort. Finally our Graduation was one which we will all remember. While attending Kaynor we all made one change; that is we went from 14 or 15 year old children to 18 or 19 year old young adults. We became aware of the many new and different challenges that faced us. We became aware of wars and of death. Most of all as we leave the halls of Kaynor we realize that, WE HAVE ONLY JUST BEGUN!
