MR. MANACK MISS BURNS DEDICATION We the class of 1969 dedicate our yearbook to Mr. Gary Manack, general instructor, Mr. Peter Pomponio, shop instructor, and Miss Anna Burns, school librarian. For their understanding and leadership. For their friendship and personal interest. For helping us to form ideals which we will carry with us in leaving Kaynor Technical School. We hope that by dedicating our yearbook to them it will show our appreciation for their many efforts. Yours sincerely, The Class of 1969 6 MR. POMPONIO

The graduating class of 1969 has arrived. You have completed a chapter in your own lives, but in doing that you have influenced many other people, especially teachers and other students. Conversely, they have touch- ed your lives, contributing to your growth as persons. Vocational education does this in a special way — bringing people into closer relationship that stimulate one another’s po- tentials, attempting always to bring out the best in you. Our prayer and hope at Kaynor is that you continue to strive in this direction — influencing others, and letting their influ- ence on you bring out your best as a crafts- man and as a worthy citizen. JOHN L. ROSSI Director To the Class of 1969 As Kaynor Tech students your time at school has seen unprecedented worldwide happenings. Wars, narcotics, space achieve- ments, racial disorders, student protests, adult protest, have occupied a disproportion- ate part of the communcation services. Hope- fully you will accept these conditions as chal- lenges that can be corrected so that you can improve your world. You have the tools to achieve, I hope you have the desire. JOHN J. MILLS Assistant Director 5

The Class of 1969 wishes to take this opportunity to pay tribute to Mr. George Sender who, as our advisor, guided our class through its first two years. His personal interest and hard work with the students was an inspiration which we will all remember. His name is dearly engraved in the heart of our class. 7
