Class History Our freshman year began in September of 1964, a year that won't be for- gotten. That first year at Kaynor was the hardest. Making friends was the least confusing thing we did all year. Time flew by and before we realized it the year was over. The summer went by very fast and we entered our Sophomore year in Sep- tember. During the Sophomore year our class was organized, officers were elected, and we got down to business. Our class held dances and collected dues to build up our treasury. This year went by faster and another summer came upon us and left just as quickly. We started our Junior year in the same familiar halls with the same friends. The Junior year was a busy one; we collected dues, had a candy sale, a Christ- mas sale, and our Junior Prom. In June we knew this year had come and gone faster than the two before it. Another September brought our Senior year and with it came a lot of hard work. Dues were collected and the Yearbook Staff went to work on the year- book. We held a Halloween dance in October. Also that month, the senior and junior classes went to see Shakespeare’s play, Macbeth, at the Shakespeare Theater under a new Federally sponsored program started in the technical schools. After our Christmas vacation, we all looked forward to our prom in June. The four weeks between our prom and Graduation day seemed like the shortest month we spent at school in the four years we were there. When Graduation day came, the day we had waited four long years for, mixed emo- tions filled our heads. We were happy to be getting out, but felt sorry to leave the school. But everyone knew that the four years we had been in Kaynor Tech, were the best four years of our lives. Alan Iacoviello Class President
