AND PERSONNEL The personnel, from administration to students, work- ing as one, give the school a heartbeat-animate the blocks and tile that shelter them. Like newspaper depart- mental editors the superintendent, board of education, and faculty give assignments to the other half of the personnel, the students. Managing editor, Mr. Cav- anaugh, directs all works. City editor, Mr. Dryer, super- vises details and lets nothing escape him. The faculty, as department heads, are busy controlling regular assignments and extra-curricular work. Like the news- paper's executives the school board plans and directs policy. Students, like cub reporters, will tell you that they really do the work.
