Pt happy and iitting set ot conditions surrounds the dedicationfthe book's coior is green, and Miss Corry is a true daughter oi Erinvg again, iournai- ism is the theme, and she has trained us in the iundamentais ot newspaper work. Our memory bids us be grateiui as we recaii the roducts ot Miss Corry's ettortsfan exceiient Kau-Hi-News, membership in the Quiii and Scroii and in the Nationai Schoiastic Press Association, and a background in news writing. She taught us Engiish grammar and iiterature when we were iuniors. Her abiiity and initiative iaunched, in U328, the Kau-Hi-News, which students agree has constantiy raised its standards. Pier exacting demands oi us, the Papyrus staii, when we pubiished the schooi newspaper, prepared us to produce a yearbook. Through her we received a chance to become members ot the Quiii and Scroii, internationai honorary society oi high schooi iournaiism. The Pegasus. annuai magazine ot the students' com- petitive iiterary works, was estabiished under Niiss Corry's direction. it is an assumption tor us to try to acknowiedge, in a short dedication, aii that she has meant to her students, students who respect her now and thank their stars tor the work she made them do. We recognize what Niiss Corry has done tor us, we appreciate it, we teei that we are fortunate to have an opportunity to thank her here.
