May 1979 and in March 1981 was i A4 commissioned an Ensign from Offi- . cer Candidate School. LCDR Danko's initial sea tour was as ASW Officer in USS JESSE L. i BROWN IFF 10891 from March 1981 'i to July 1985. From July 1985 to Au- gust 1987 LCDR Danko served as n staff ASWXASUW Officer for COM- v DESRON 36. In September 1987 he reported to ' 9 4 the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey, CA, and graduated in ,, n March 1990 with a masters degree in l Applied Science CASWJ. ' -4 Following Post Graduate School and SWOS Department Head School, LCDR Danko reported to the USS Boone CFFG 289 as Operations Officer. He com- p pleted that tour in August 1992 and reported to COMDESRON 14 where he served ' as staff Operations Officer from September 1992 to March 1994. From April 1994 to A i September 1994, LCDR Danko was assigned to Surface Warfare Development Group - where he served as Assistant SHAREM ASW Officer until his transfer to KAUFF- . 1 LCDR Danko is married to the former Raquel Pascual of Lima, Peru.
