Mediterranean deployment '93 was anything but the typi- cal MED cruise. From the Black Sea to the Adriatic Sea and finally concluding in the Red Sea, your men from Combat Systems performed superbly. As tough as it was being away from our family and friends, we were proud to' be supporting and defending our country. Though life at sea is never easy, the precious letters, cassette tapes, pictures and care boxes helped us to endure our separation. Looking back over the last six months, much has changed back home. Despite our absence, our thoughts and hearts remained with our loved ones. To our family and friends, thank you for pulling us through. Having safely returned to our joyous homecoming, little could replace the pride or our accomplishments and the excitement of retuming to our loved ones on that very special 10 September 95. ombat Systems
