The squad this year stressed guidance instead of the arrest of offenders. Watching lunch lines, collecting lunch money, and checking for tickets and activity cards at games were other duties of this respected organization. Arrests were referred to the student court to be tried, This year, Kauai High School operated on a very modern school court system. Order, order in the court was often echoed by Chief Justice Edward Hanki. Jack Wakayama, prosecuting attorney, was fair and judicious, Capable Albert Nishihara showed wisdom as defense attorney. Minnie Tokunaga and Ccnstancia Santos worked industriously as clerks. With this proficient crew the apprehended were put to a fair trial before the jury consisting of Bar- bara Yamamoto, Stanley lsoda, David Wood, Alfredo Ragasa, and Clorinda Nagaoka. Through all its accomplishments the court had one ultimate goal-to teach students to become respon- sible American citizens. Row I, left to right: B. Kimura, E. Hiraoka, N. Fujii, H.
