Home: A Hot Meal and a Warm Bed The parents of an average KHS student probably found their teenage offspring gone a great deal of the time. Many parents may have felt that home was lust a stopover between 10:00 P.M. and 7:00 A.M. to their active sons and daughters. Yet nights and weekends were times that families often spent together. Many perhaps watched T.V. - they may have watched Cincinnati's sweep of the World Series or taken an interest in the televised Tampa Bay Buccaneer's football games. Students Prepare for the Adult World Students were involved in their own lives apart from school. As young adults they were faced with many privi- leges and responsibilities. Some were married and began families of their own. Most students had duties at home to fulfill and many exer- cised their rights to worship by attending church and getting involved in activities.
